She was 75 years old. Born in North Plains township, she had lived in Belding since 1915. She was a member of the Belding Church of God. She is survived by her husband Charles and four daughters, Mrs. Wreath Pearson, of Lowell; Mrs. Mildred Lowe, of Belding; Mrs. Beatrice Marshall, of Orleans; and Mrs. Violet Hagadis of Greenville. Also surviving are two brothers Glenn Piece of Carson City, and Lewis Spiece of Houghton Lake, along with two brothers Alvin Helms of Fenwick and Arthur Helms of Ionia. She had 31 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. The funeral was held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Huffman funeral home, the Rev. Omer Blevins officiating. Mrs. Weiler was buried in the Payne Cemetery in North Plains.
