Ionia Daily Standard, 25 & 26 Mar 1895

George Weiman, father of Mrs. John Speckein, died yesterday at the age of 75, of
old age.  Funeral from St. John’s Lutheran church, at 2 p.m. tomorrow.

The funeral of George Weinmann was attended from St. John’s Lutheran church,
this afternoon, and a large number of friends gathered to testify the regard in
which he was held.  The address by Rev. Sucop was tenderly sympathetic. 
Interment was in Highland Park.

Undertaker Allured says that Mr. Weimans, at 75, was the youngest of nine
elderly persons who have recently been carried to their last resting place.
