Three weeks or more ago while working in the woods he scratched the back of his hand on a saw. He paid very little attention to it until the arm began to swell and pain him when Dr. Bradfield of Tremayne’s Corners was called. It was too late, for the poison had permeated the whole system. He was buried Monday afternoon. The Royal Arcanum and Maccabees of Ionia, of which orders he was a member, attend the funeral in a body. He was 48 years of age and leaves a wife and five children, who have the sympathy of the entire community in their loss. He resided on the old Weisgarber place.
