Weiss who with his wife resided in the home of Mr. and Mrs. M. L. Howard and who has been in poor health for the past year died Thursday. The funeral was held Saturday at the Wortley and Baine funeral parlors and burial was in Lakeside cemetery. Mr. Weiss was born January 8, 1863, at Owosso. Surviving are the widow, Myrtle; three sons, Harold and Lester of Kalamazoo and Earl of Flint; two sisters, Mrs. Etta Westcott of Berrien Springs and Mrs. Pronia Curtis of Vassar, and a brother, Byron Jacobs of Battle Creek. Those from away to attend the funeral were; Mr. and Mrs. H. P. Weiss, Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Weiss and family, Mrs. David Deaner of Kalamazoo, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Weiss and family, Mr. and Mrs. Harley Mullasin of Flint, Mrs. Ora Leper, Mrs. John Perry, Mr. and Mrs. Earl McKenzie, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Parks of Battle Creek, Mrs. E. W. Smiley Jr. of Freemont, Ohio, ,Mrs. Ella Markham, Mrs. Lucy Howard and Mrs. Mary Kisling of Lansing and Mrs. Emma Kauffman of Warren, Michigan.
