She was married to John Weitz, February 12, 1882, and lived in Caledonia for eight years. They moved to the farm in Odessa, where they have since lived, in March 1896. To this union was born one daughter, Mr. Ed Vandecar. Mrs. Weitz was stricken with paralysis Nov. 10, 1922. She has since been a terrible sufferer and was tenderly cared for by loving friends. She leaves to mourn her departure a loving husband and daughter, her mother and seven brothers, beside several nieces and nephews and a host of neighbors and friends. Mrs. Weitz was home-loving, her first thought being always for her family; and was always ready to do for her neighbors when needed. She will be greatly missed in her home as well as in the entire neighborhood. Additional Comments: CARD OF THANKS We wish to extend our heartfelt thanks to our relatives, friends and neighbors for every kindness shown us during the sickness and death of our dear wife and mother; for the flowers and to the minister for his comforting words. Your kindness will ever be remembered.
