Fr. W. Flannagan. Burial was in the Hubbardston Catholic cemetery. Bearers were James McKeon, Dan Hogan, Thomas Rogers, William O’Brien, Patrick Rogers, Richard Couzens. Mrs. Welch was of Irish ancestors. Her father, Thomas Cusack, was born in Ireland, and came to the vicinity of Hubbardston as a pioneer. On the plat of land which the Cusack forebears took up from the government, Mrs. Welch was born, and here she had always lived and where she died. Mr. Welch died last year. She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Patrick Cunningham, Hubbardston; brothers, Edward, Charles, and George Cusack, of Hubbardston, and a sister, Mrs. James Fitzpatrick, Maple Rapids.
