The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, May 5, 1981


Martha G. Welch, 88, 814 E. Lincoln Ave., died Saturday at Ionia Manor.

Services were Monday at 11 a.m. from St. John’s Episcopal Church with the Rev. 
Fredrick L. Houghton officiating, the rector at St. Paul Episcopal Church in 
Brighton.

The organist was Charles Olegar and burial was in Highland Park cemetery.  
Pallbearers were Michael Buckingham, Homer Hawley, Arch Wright and Perry 
Boyes.  

A luncheon was served at the church for friends and relatives after the 
ceremony.  Arrangements were by the Leddick Funeral Home.
