Mr. Welch was born in Ionia County and lived the most of his life in this vicinity. He had spent the greater part of his life in the service fo the Pere Marquette railroad company and had resided in Grand Ledge, Edmore, Portland, and Ionia, making the runs from these points and was serving as a conductor at the time of his death. Surviving is the widow and two brothers, Frank Welch of Easton and Herbert Welch of Houston, Tex. RAY WELCH Funeral services for Ray Welch, who died in Grand rapids Friday morning, will be held from the home Tuesday afternoon, North Jefferson street, at 3 o'clock. Rev. W.F. Kendrick will be in charge. Interment will be made in the Easton Cemetery.
