The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, January 26, 1949
Mrs. Eva Welch, 92, of Howard City, formerly of Ionia died at Ionia County 
Memorial hospital Wednesday morning after being a patient there for about one 
week.  She was born in Morley November 6, 1856.  She lived at 921 Branch 
street for many years before moving to Howard City eight years ago.  She 
leaves a sister, Emma Smith, of Howard City.  Services will be held at Myers 
funeral home Friday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock with interment in Easton 
cemetery.
