Wilma E. Welch, 84, of Saranac died at her residence Wednesday, September 28, 
1994.  She was born December 28, 1909, the daughter of Daniel and Lylia 
(Adgate) Patrick.  She married Amos Welch in Ionia in 1931.  She was a member 
of the First Christian Church of Ionia, the Ronald Grange, and the Pleasant 
Hills Literary Club.

Mrs. Welch is survived by her husband Amos; one daughter, Janet (Philip) Jones 
of Saranac; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one brother, Russell 
Patrick of Ionia.  She was preceded in death by one brother and one 
granddaughter.

Visitation will be at Lake Funeral Home, Saranac, Thursday from 2-4 and 7-8:30 
p.m.  Funeral services will be at the funeral home Friday at 1 p.m.  Memorial 
contributions can be made to the First Christian Church or Ionia Helping Hands.
