The Portland Observer, Wednesday, February 14, 1894

The remains of Miss Ophelia Weld, who died in the asylum at Kalamazoo on 
Sunday of last week, mention of which was made in The Observer last week, were 
brought to Portland on Tuesday.  Brief funeral services were held at the home 
of her sister, Mrs. Donald Campbell, on the same day.
