WELDON, MARY (SHEEHAN)(MRS. JOHN A.): 
   The Cainsville (MO) News, January 3, 1918:  "Obituary - MARY SHEHAN WELDON
was born in Ionia, Michigan in 1858 and departed this life, December 24, 1917 at
the family home in Cainsville.
   She was married to John A. Weldon on July 30, 1876.  To this union, five
children were born; four boys and one girl.
   Sister Weldon is the first of the family to pass away.  She had been a
patient sufferer for many days and bore her sufferings with fortitude and a firm
faith that when the end came, she was prepared to go.
   Sister Weldon united with the Church of Christ in April, 1915, and lived a
Christian life until the end.  She was a great lover of the Church and was
always in her place at the services when her health permitted.  She will be
greatly missed in the home, the Church and community.
   Funeral services were held at the Church, December 26th, conducted by the
Pastor.  A large audience was present to pay the last tribute of love and
respect to our departed sister and friend.
   May God bless the children and comfort the father and husband in the loss of
mother and companion is our prayer.  O.D. Hedges"
