The Carson City Gazette, Thursday, June 18, 1931


Ruth, five year old daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. Jacob Weller, North Plains 
farmers, died at the home of her parents Friday following a few days illness 
with scarlet fever.  Private funeral services were held Saturday afternoon with 
interment taking place in Saint John Cemetery.  She is survived by her parents 
and two brothers, Jacob and Joseph.  At present the parents and one brother are 
seriously ill with the same disease.
