Bud was born Sept. 24, 1932 in Wayne Co., Mich. the son of Serl and Ethel (Hall) Weller. He was a man who loved God, life, people and his family. One of his favorite pastimes was fishing. After finding out his cancer was terminal, his comment was I will finish my walk with the Lord and then I will go home. Bud served his country in the U.S. Army in the Korean war.He was a member of the Sebewa Church of God, where he served as Sunday school superintendent and he was also on the pastors council.He sang in the choir and was loyal member. He was a service tech, for 35 yeas. He worked at Hafner floral, was a delivery man for 10 years. Currently he was employed at Twin City Foods in Lake Odessa, where he had many friends. He touched a lot of peoples lives, with his happy go lucky attitude, and his faith in God. Go rest high on a mountain Bud your work on earth is done.We Love You. Bud was preceded in death by both is mother and father, his loving wife of 43 years, Marilyn Weller; brothers, George Weller and Alvin Weller and sister, Ethel Weller. Surviving are his children, Peter(Rebecca) Weller, Paul (Darlene) Weller and Darell (Sarah) Weller; grandchildren; Sara(Jeff) Jameson and their children Adron and Jeffrey; Joshua (Teresa) Weller and their son Ethan; Simon (Nicole) Weller and their children Naomi and Ashton; Bobbi (terry) Platte and their children Gabe, Gavin and Gwen; Charlie (Angie) Schafer and their children Hannah and Braden; Jason Weller and Erin; Jacob Weller, Tim Weller and Angelica Weller; his loving wife, Susan Weller and her children, Steve (Mary) Judkins, Deanna (Randy)Coffman and James (Dawn) Judkins; Sue's grandchildren and great- grandchildren; brothers,Wesley (Rita) Weller and Harold (Gracie) Weller; sisters,Jean Schodowski, Shirley (Walter) Rehkemper, Nancy (Richard) Bennett, Frances Britton, Carol Eckley and Bonnie(Bob)Swain, brother-in-law,Thomas Pitchford; lots of nieces and nephews, and his church family and many, many friends. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday July 31, 2008 at the Sebewa Church of God with Pastor Jerry Polk officiating. The family will receive their friends Wednesday July 30, 2008 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Rosier Funeral Home, Mapes Fisher Chapel, Sunfield, Michigan. For those wishing, contributions may be made to Ionia Area Hospice, or Sebewa Church of God C/O RFH PO Box 36, Sunfield, MI 48890. The Pallbearers will be Jason Weller, Chuck Schafer, Tim Weller, Jake Weller, Joshua Weller and Simon Weller. Following the services at the Church we will have a grave side service with full military rites at the Balcom Cemetery in Ionia,Mich.
