The Grand Ledge Independent, November 21, 1913

Frank S. Wellman was born in Sparta, Mich., March 28, 1857, and died Nov. 14, 
1913.  He was married to Malona D. Jacob Dec. 27, 1877.  He leaves a wife, 
mother and three children, Mrs. Wm. Compton, Spring Lake; Melvin of Lansing, 
and Lillian at home.

The deceased had been sick more than five years with a complication of 
diseases.  Mr. Wellman had been a Spiritualist for 35 years and was a pioneer 
worker of the Grand Ledge Camp Association, also a charter member of Camp 4963 
M.W.A., of Mulliken.

Funeral was at Danby church, Nov. 1, Rev. Amanda Flower of Grand Rapids 
officiating.  Burial in Danby cemetery.
