LUCILLE E. WELLMAN
PORTLAND - Lucille E. Wellman, 58, of 447 Vessey Street, Portland, died March 22 at
a Lansing hospital.

She was born May 2, 1929, in Lansing, the daughter of Martin and Victoria Alexander
Honsowitz.

Surviving are her husband Forrest; four sons, Forrest Jr. of Eaton Rapids, John of
Grand Rapids, Timothy of Ionia, and Scott of Portland; one sister-in-law, Dorothy
Honsowitz of Portland; one daughter, Hovita Smith of Portland; eight grandchildren; one brother
Hugh Honsowitz; three sisters, all of Portland, Hovita Honsowitz, Mary Jane Honsowitz,
and Sophia Lenneman.

Funeral services will be March 25, at 11 a.m. at the Neller Funeral home in
Portland, with the Rev. Robert Betts f the Eaton Rapids United Methodist Church officiating.

Burial will be at the Portland Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Scott and Pat Russell,
Forrest, John, Timothy, and Scott Wellman. The family will be at the funeral home on March 24 
at 7to 9 p.m.
