Ionia Daily Sentinel, 31 Aug 1908

Mrs. Eliza Wells, a former resident of Saranac, died Monday at the home of her 
granddaughter, Mrs. Sayles, in Lowell aged 99 years.  The funeral occurred 
Thursday afternoon at the home.  Interment in Saranac.  A son, Albert Wells, 
lives near Saranac.
