                              Corinne A. Wells

Corinne A.Wells, 98, of Belding, passed away Tuesday afternoon, Dec.7, 2010 at 
Metron of Belding. Corinne was born in South Haven on Oct.4, 1912, the daughter 
of Frank and Beulah Westgate Poorman.

She graduated from South Haven High School with the Class of 1929 and attended 
three years at Western Michigan University. In later years she worked at Jolly 
Kids for 20 years, Gibsons and Belding Christian Nursing Home. Corinne was also 
a member  of the United Methodist Church of Belding and the Otisco Extension 
Club. She enjoyed playing cards with her many friends.

She was married on Nov. 21, 1935 in Elkhart, Ind., to LeRoy Miller and he 
preceded her in 1950, she was also preceded by husbands Don Fisk, J.B. Antcliff 
and Raymond Wells.

Corine is survived by her daughters, Sharon and Carl Olmstead, Eva Mae and Dan 
Lake, all of Belding; her step-children; five grandchildren; 15 great-
grandchildren; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. She was 
also preceded by her parents, brother, two sisters, granddaughter, and a step-
daughter.

Funeral services will be noon Saturday at Johnson Feuerstein Funeral Home, 
Belding with Pastors Connie Shatz and Ken Harger officiating.Interment will be 
at River Ridge Cemetery, Belding. Visitation will be 2 to 4 p.m Friday at the 
funeral home.

Memorials may be given to Belding United Methodist Church, Ionia Area Hospice or
