Thomas George Welsh, 57, died Sunday afternoon at Carson City hospital where 
he was admitted the same morning.  Born February 27, 1900 in North Plains 
township, he was a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Welsh.  He married the former 
Veronica Schafer October 25, 1947 in Hubbardston at St. John the Baptist 
church.

Surviving besides his wife are three brothers, William of Ionia, and John and 
Matthew of Hubbardston; three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Daily of Palo; Mrs. Marie 
McCracken of Carson City and Mrs. Eva Burns of Hubbardston; seven step-
children and 10 step-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at St. John the Baptist church 
and burial will be at St. John the Baptist cemetery.  The Rev. Fr. Fox, 
pastor, will officiate.  The body is a the residence in Hubbardston.  Rosary 
will be said Monday night at the residence at 8 o’clock.
