Lyons Herald, 20  Sep 1917

Almira Amelia Arches was born at Milan, Ohio, February 7, 1851, and died at her 
home in Lyons, Michigan, September 13, 1917, at the age of 66 years, 7 months 
and 6 days.

When about three years of age her father died as the result of an accident and 
later she went to live with Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Haskins at Huntington, Ohio, who 
gave her her education and training in music.

She was united in marriage to Ransley Addison Welton at Litchfield, Ohio, May 
20, 1877.  To this union were born three children, Addie, Archie and Arthur.  
In June of 1879 they came to Clinton county, Michigan, in which state she spent 
the remainder of her life.  She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband, two 
children, Addie and Arthur, a sister, Mrs. Jane Anerson, of Elyria, Ohio, and 
five grandchildren, besides many other relatives and countless friends.

members of the church and numerous friends for the heartfelt sympathy, 
beautiful flowers and kindness extended during the illness and at the death of
