Daily Sentinel-Std. - Friday & Saturday, June 1 & 2, 1951

Miss Anna Welton, of North Dexter street, died at the Ionia Rest Home, East 
Main street about noon Friday, June 1.

She had been a patient there since February 2, 1951

The body was removed to the Boynton home where funeral arrangements will be 
announced later.

SATURDAY, JUNE 2, 1951
Miss Anna Welton, 74, of North Dexter street, died Friday noon at the Ionia 
Rest home where she had been a patient since February 2.

She was born in Ionia, March 3, 1877, the daughter of William and Catherine 
Welton. She lived her entire life here. She was employed for 30 years as 
secretary of the George Nichols, Ionia attorney.

Miss Welton was a member of SS. Peter and Paul church.

Funeral services will be conducted at SS. Peter and Paul church Wednesday at 
9 a.m. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet cemetery.

Rosary will be said at the Boynton funeral home Tuesday at 7 p.m.
