Belding Banner, 16 May 1968

Winnifred Werner, 79, died Tuesday at Belding Christian Nursing Home.  Miss 
Werner was born in Grattan township August 9, 1888.  A retired teacher, Miss 
Werner had taught in both Washington and California.  She had lived in this 
area for the past three years.

She is survived by a sister Mrs. Jessie Royce of Belding, a brother Robert E. 
of Rose Point, a niece Mrs. Lillian Dykstra of Luther and two nephews Duane 
Dykstra of Wayland and Robert Dykstra of Grand Rapids.

Funeral services will be held Thursday (today) at Huffman Funeral Home.  Rev. 
Robert Lilley of First Baptist Church will officiate.  Interment will be in 
Otisco cemetery.
