Mrs. Charles Wesley

Funeral services were held at Greenville Monday afternoon for Mrs. Charles 
Wesley, 65, formerly of North Plains, who died Friday night following a week’s 
illness of pneumonia. Interment was at the Greenville cemetery.

Mrs. Wesley was born in North Plains the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Shafer, 
who lived for many years on the farm in North Plains, now owned by Clarence 
Fletcher. She and Mr. Wesley resided in north Plains until 20 years ago when 
they moved to Greenville. Mr. Wesley died about five years ago from internal 
injuries sustained in an auto accident and since then Mrs. Wesley had made her 
home with her daughter in Greenville, Mrs. Velma Bailey, who is the only 
survivor.
