Lyons Herald, 9 Feb 1911

Isaac West died at the home of his son, Geo. West, Saturday morning.  The 
funeral was held Tuesday afternoon from the residence.  The deceased was an old 
and highly respected citizen of this village and was highway commissioner of 
Lyons township for a number of years.

Mrs. Ethel Palmer, of West Branch, was in Muir Tuesday to attend the funeral of 
her grandfather, Isaac West.

[Transcriber’s Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that he was the 
son of Benjamin and Elizabeth (Swartz) West.]
