The Ionia Standard, Friday, February 19, 1897
Muir.  Mrs. Geo. West died at her home in this village, Friday.  She leaves a 
husband and two young children to mourn her death.  The funeral on Sunday 
afternoon, at the Presbyterian church, was attended by many sympathizing 
friends of this place, and several friends and relatives from Ovid, Grand 
Rapids and other places.
