The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, December 14, 1950
Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Neller funeral home in 
Portland for Maurice B. West, 67, who died at his Portland home.  Mr. West was 
superintendent of the Portland water department with which he had been 
associated for 33 years.  He was a member of Portland F.A.A.M.

Surviving are the wife, Minnie; a daughter, Mrs. Charles Mathews, of Portland; 
one son, Weldon West, of Lansing; two sisters and one brother.
