Sentinel-Standard - Monday, Feb. 9, 1948

Services were held for John Dennis "Denny" West, 84, from the Meyers funeral home 
Saturday morning. West was found dead in his home at 705 West Washington street 
Thursday afternoon. The Rev. A.J. Westmaas officiated with burial in Balcom
cemetery.

His bearers were Frank Gazella, Herbert Ross, Henry Alberts and Ammon Lindley.

Attending his services from out of town was Mrs. Nettie Cardinal of Grand Rapids,
his 
only relative.
