Robert “Rob” H. Westbrook of Ionia passed away April 12, 2013. He was born in 
Ionia on Dec. 31 1953 to Norma (Glossi) Westbrook and the late Robert N. 
Westbrook.

He graduated from Ionia High School in 1972 and in his younger days raced 
motorcycles, like sailing and collecting antiques. He collected books and was 
an avid reader. In his healthy working day, Rob worked for Williams Brothers, 
Kent Power Co. and on the family farm.

He is survived by his mother, Norma; sister Natalie (Roger) Morey of Hawaii; 
brothers, James (Jane) of Grand Rapids, Ross (Paula) of Williamston and Mark 
(Mary Jo) of Shelbyville; he is also survived by two nieces, three nephews and 
many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; special friends Steve McCord and Neal 
Pelon.

Rob’s wishes for no funeral service were honored. Cremation has taken place. A 
Remembrance Coffee (Brunch) will be held on Monday 25, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at 
the Steel St. Hall (formerly Knights of Columbus).
