The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, October 12, 1967
Leona Westen, 71, former Ionia resident, died Tuesday in Flint.  She was born 
in Ionia, October 9, 1896 and is survived by a step-daughter, Mrs. Edward 
Dairs of Flushing; stepson, Wilbur Westen of Flint; eight grandchildren and 
three great grandchildren; a brother, Russell Chamberlain of Greenville.  
Funeral services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Brown funeral home in Flint.  
Burial will be in Balcom cemetery, Ionia.
