Belding- Lenora V. Westerling, 88, of Belding/Orleans, died on Friday, Nov. 29, 
2013, at Heritage Nursing and Rehabilitation in Zeeland.

Lenora was born in Belding on Nov. 10, 1925, the daughter of David Robert and 
Ora (Godfrey) Hall.

She graduated from Remus High School. 

On May 13, 1950, she married Peter Westerling, and together they enjoyed 23 
years of marriage until his death in 1973.

Lenora loved to watch Law & Order, was an avid Detroit Tigers fan, enjoyed 
NASCAR and doing word searches.

Lenora is loved and survived by her children, Judy Walters of Zeeland, Rod West 
and Young Mi Parker of Las Vegas, Barbara Newby of Orleans, Roger and Donna 
Westerling of St. Paul, Minn.; her grandchildren, Philip and Cathy Walters, 
Laura and Phil Gutknecht, Bev and Walt Horinga, Brian and Kim Walters; 10 
great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; a sister, Louise Raines of 
Ontario Calif.

Lenora was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Truman and Sherwood; 
one sister, Mary, along with two sons-in-law, Phil Walters and William "Bill" 
Newby.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m., Tuesday at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral 
Home, Belding, with the funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. with Pastor Ken 
Harger officiating.

Interment will be in Rest Haven Memory Gardens, Belding.

Memorials may be given to the wishes of the family.
