   Excerpts from Ionia Obituary

     GORDON COLEN WESTERVELT

Died  Tuesday July 9, 2024-age 60 at home.
Born October 14, 1963.
Gordon was a hard working man who enjoyed watching football (loyal to Minnesota 
Vikings) & spending time with his family.
Preceded in death by his mother, Patricia & sisters, Jennifer & Teresa.
Survived by loving wife Tammy; children, Nicole, Colin, Evelyn,Brain & Brandon; 
grandchildren; Lauren, Skylynn, Arlene, Darrell, Peyton, Joseph, Alexis, Isaiah, 
Jaxon, & Blakely & his brother Jimmy (Leonard) & many other family members & 
friends.
Gordon will be remembered for his hard-work, love, humor, jokes, selflessness, 
love of animals, dedication & awareness. He was a PROUD man.
A Celebration of Gordon's Life will be held on July 20, 2024 from 4-6pm at 
Illumate Community Church, 83 E.Tuttle Rd, Ionia, MI 48846.
Afterwards you may gather at his home 5186 Bluewater Hwy, Saranac, MI 48881.
