Dennis J. Wetherbee, 22, of Ionia died unexpectedly Thursday, Sept. 21, 1995 in
Grand Rapids.  He was born the son of Larry and Carol (Fletcher) Wetherbee on
July 10, 1973 in Ionia.  He graduated from Portland High School in 1992.  He was
employed at Amway Corporation in Ada.  He was a member of SS. Peter and Paul
Catholic Church in Ionia and St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Portland.

Surviving are his daughter Chelsea; parents: Larry and Carol Wetherbee, of
Ionia; sister Nicole Wetherbee, of Holt; nephew Bradley Stiles, of Holt;
grandparents: Anna Wetherbee, of Ionia and Russell and Ione Fletcher, of Muir;
and several aunts and uncles.  He was preceded in death by his grandfather Henry
Wetherbee and his grandmother Florence Fletcher.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at SS. Peter and Paul’s
Catholic Church in Ionia with Father Charles Mason officiating.  Interment will
be in Balcom Cemetery and visiting hours are from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Saturday
and Sunday at the Cook Funeral Home in Ionia.  A Scripture Service will be held
at the funeral home at 8 p.m. on Sunday.  Memorial contributions can be made to
the wishes of the Wetherbee Family.
