Lowell Ledger, 28 Feb 2007

James E. Wheat, age 76, of Lowell passed away February 24, 2007.  He was
preceded in death by his parents John and Mary Wheat, brother Philip Wheat, and
daughter-in-law Debra Wheat.  He is survived by his wife of 56 years Marion
(Batey) Wheat, children, Cherry Wheat and Rex Wheat of Lowell, sisters, Evelyn
(Clyde) Cooper of Ionia, Olive (Bill) Cook of Lowell, Doris (Delmar) Carlson of
Lamont, Alice Wheat of Wyoming, Mary Lou (Art) Botma of Six Lakes, Virginia
(Jerry) Roberts of Riverview, Florida, sister-in-law, Juanita Wheat of Lowell,
grandchildren, Tara (Brandon) Hamilton, and Cassy Wheat, and three great
grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 28 11 a.m.
at the Roth Gerst Funeral Chapel, 305 North Hudson, Dr. Michael T. Conklin
officiating. Internment will be at South Boston Cemetery.
