Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 15 Jun 1944

Prayer services for the infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clare Wheaton of Grand
Rapids, who died Wednesday morning at 5:30 o’clock shortly after birth in
Butterworth hospital, Grand Rapids were held Thursday morning at 10:30 o’clock
at the Boynton funeral home.  Rev. F.G. Dunbar officiated and burial was in
Highland Park cemetery.

Surviving besides the parents, is a brother, Alan; the paternal grandparents,
Mr. and Mrs. Victor Wheaton of Ionia and the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs.
Alden Faunce, of Harbor Springs.

Mrs. Wheaton was the former Alice Faunce, Ionia high school teacher.
