Daily Sentinel - Thursday, Dec. 15, 1910

Steve Wheaton died at his home, Sunday, after a long illness. Interment in 
Shanty Plains cemetery. Mr. Wheaton was a veteran of the civil war and was an 
active worker in the G.A.R. He was a good neighbor and friend and will be 
greatly missed in his neighborhood.
