Saranac Correspondence:

A sad accident occurred Tuesday morning in Keene by which Bruce Wheaton of 
that township fell from his windmill and sustained injuries from which he died 
about an hour later.  

Together with Amon Otis, of Saranac, he had climbed the windmill which needed 
some repairing.  He remarked to Mr. Otis that he was dizzy and before the 
latter could reach him he fell to the ground.  Mr. Wheaton was a young man and 
he leaves a widow and two small children to mourn his loss.  He lived in 
Saranac for a time after his marriage and had many friends here.
