Funeral services will be held from the home Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock, in charge of Rev. John H. Stewart. Burial will be made in the Danby cemetery. Mrs. Wheeler was born in Spaulding county, Ohio, and came to Portland with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Mallett, when a young girl. Forty years ago she was united in marriage to Mr. Wheeler and since that time had resided on farms in Danby, the present Wheeler home being located a mile west and one-half mile south of the Barr schoolhouse. She is survived by three sons and one daughter, Elmer, of Eaton county; Charles, at home; Lorenzo, of Danby, and Mrs. Forest Stiffler, also of Danby. Mrs. Ralph Blackman, of Portland, is a half-sister, and Mrs. Jennie Mallet is the step-mother of Mrs. Wheeler.
