Robinson St., Lyons, died Dec. 22 at her residence. She was born Aug. 8, 1929, the daughter of Richard and Lila Wilson Miller. She attended Portland Public Schools and married Carroll Wheeler in August, 1946, in Portland. They then moved to Lyons, where they were residents the rest of their lives. She retired from the Chrysler Lyons Trim Plant in May 1978, belonged to the UAW Retirees Local, and was a member of the VFW 4646 Ladies Auxiliary in Lyons. Surviving are her mother: Lila Miller of Ionia; husband: Carroll of Lyons; two sons: Robert and John both of Lyons; two daughters: Mrs. Cheryl Gilmore and Mrs. Tammy Dusenberry both of Ionia; two brothers: George Miller of Charlotte and Richard Miller of Missouri; five sisters: Miss Betty Miller of Ionia, Mrs. Peggy Schuster of Portland, Mrs. Ruth Petrie of Sunfield, Mrs. Roselee Lang of California, and Mrs. Virginia Lake of Lyons. Funeral services will be Thursday, 2 p.m., from the Lyons Baptist Church with Rev. Kenneth Harger, of Shiloh Community Church, officiating, assisted by Rev. Paul Carmichael of Lyons Baptist Church. Burial will be in Lyons Cemetery. Until noon Thursday, she will repose at the Hull Memorial Chapel in Muir.
