Carroll J. (Sonny) Wheeler, 65, of Lyons died Tuesday, May 10, 1994 at
Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids.  He was born June 7, 1928 in West
Bloomfield the son of Harrison and Stella (Fish) Wheeler.  He married Doris
Miller.  Mr. Wheeler came to Lyons in 1936.  He retired from Intgral Engineering
in 1991.  He was a member of the Portland VFW.

He is survived by two sons, Robert Wheeler and John Wheeler both of Lyons; two
daughters, Cheryl Gilmore of Ionia and Tammy Wheeler of Portage, Mich.; two
sisters, Claudine Lahr of Stanton and Phyllis Benner of Crooked Lake, Mich.; 13
grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his wife
Doris in 1987.

Visitation will be Friday from 9 a.m. to the time of the service.  The family
will meet with friends at 1 p.m.  Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at
the Hull Memorial Chapel, Muir.  The Rev. Kenneth Harger of the Shiloh Community
Church will officiate.  Cremation will take place at a later date.
