Vanessa Rayshell Wheeler, 17, of Lyons died Sunday, Nov. 10 at a Grand Rapids
hospital from injuries sustained in a car accident.  She was born in Belding
Feb. 22, 1979, the daughter of John and Victoria (Harkrader) Wheeler.  She was a
senior at Ionia High School and a checkout clerk at Kmart.

She is survived by her parents; brother, John Wheeler Jr. of Lyons; sister,
Veronica of Camp Pendleton, Calif.; maternal grandmother, Virginia (Fred) Hills
of Portland; maternal grandfather, Ray Harkrader of Belding; and paternal
great-grandmother, Lila Miller of Ionia.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 3 p.m. at the Hull Memorial Chapel in Muir
with Rev. Kenneth Harger of Shiloh Community Church officiating.  Burial will be
in Lyons Cemetery.  Visitation will be Wednesday at the funeral home from 2 p.m.
to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
