Ionia County Shopper's Guide, 4 Mar 2006

Lawrence V. Wheeler, age 72, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2006.  He was 
born on July 11, 1933.  He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Greg; 
daughter, Janet; sister, Diane Sandborn; niece, Brenda Therrian.  Surviving are 
his wife of 50 years, Thelma Wheeler; daughter, Susan Wheeler of Grand Ledge; 
brother, Kenneth (Vivian) Wheeler of Eagle; half-brother, Kendall (Rosemary) 
Harrington of Eagle.  A Memorial Service will be co-conducted by the Rev. Jay 
Selden and the Rev. Roy Atherton at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 4, 2006 at the 
Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, Portland.  Interment will take place in the 
spring at North Eagle Cemetery.  For those desiring, memorial contributions may 
be made to the North Eagle Cemetery Association, Sparrow Hospice Services, or 
to Clinton Home Services, in memory of Mr. Wheeler.
