Harrison Wheeler, 63, of Lyons, died at 4:05 p.m. Wednesday in his car 
following a heart attack.  He was born March 30, 1894 at Crystal and had lived 
in Lyons since he was four years old.  He attended both rural and Lyons 
schools.  In 1946 he was married to Mildred Dynes who survives him.

Besides his wife, Mildred, he is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Louis 
(Claudine) Fletcher of Crystal, Mrs. Clair (Joyce) Bonoite of Lyons and Mrs. 
Duane (Phillis) Benner of Sheridan; one son, Carrol Wheeler of Lyons; 12 
grandchildren; a step-daughter, Mrs. Joseph Ciganick of Muir; five step-
grandchildren, and three sisters, Mrs. Addie Luce, Mrs. Sylvia Gillow and Mrs. 
Coral Wilson, all of Lake City.

Funeral service will be held at the Shaw-Rivett funeral home Saturday at 3:30 
p.m., with burial at Lyons cemetery.  

Subsequent Publication:  Monday, January 18, 1960

Service was conducted Saturday afternoon at the Shaw-Rivett funeral home in 
Muir for Harrison Wheeler, 65, of Lyons, who died January 13.  Bearers were 
Earl Aungst, Carroll Wheeler, Louis Fletcher, Duane Benner, Clare Bonoite and 
Frank Luce.  Interment was at Lyons cemetery.
