Daily Sentinel - Monday, Jan. 22, 1917

Funeral services form Mrs. John Whipple were largely attended Sunday afternoon 
at 2:30 at her late home on Wall street. Rev. E.E. Branch officiated and 
William Lavin of Detroit sang. The bearers were Wm. Marquette, Frank Baker, 
Harry Hansford, John Inman, Don Merriam and Frank Snobble. Interment was in the 
family lot at Highland Park cemetery. Those from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. 
Geo. Flemming of Clarkston, Mich., Mr. and Mrs. Al. Waters of Clarkston and Wm. 
Lavin of Detroit.
