Lowell Ledger January 28, 1981
Whitby - Robert F. Whitby, 71, of 10430 Riverside Drive, Lowell, died on Jan. 
16 at his residence. He was born in Boston Township on Sept. 29, 1909, the son 
of Otis and Hattie Grommons Whitby. Surviving is his wife, Ilene Kinyon 
Whitby, whom he married on Aug. 18, 1936, in Boston Township. There will be no 
funeral. Burial will be in Saranac Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by the 
Lake Funeral Home in Saranac.
