The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, September 22, 1980

Nora E. White, 90, formerly of Ionia, died Saturday at the Belding Christian 
Nursing Home.  She was born April 2, 1890, the daughter of Thomas and Annie 
Rose Casey Pinkston.  She moved to Crystal at the age of two and attended 
Crystal schools.

She married Floyd E. White of Sheridan May 19, 1914.  He preceded her in death 
Dec. 1, 1932.  She is survived by two sons, Thomas of Lyons and Maynard of 
Ionia; one daughter, Mrs. William (Bonnie) Jenks of Greenville; one brother, 
Victor Pinkston of Riverdale; six grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.  
One son, Jack, died in 1926, and one daughter, Mrs. Gladys Smith, died earlier 
this year.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Myers-Roetman Funeral Home, with the 
Rev. Roy Pitts officiating.  Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery.  
Friends and relatives may visit from 2 to 4  and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.
