The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, March 11, 1935
Funeral services for Emmet T. White, who died Friday afternoon following a 
week’s illness of pneumonia, where held from the home, 20 Lovell place, Sunday 
afternoon at 2:30.  Rev. H. A. Simpson, pastor of the Presbyterian church, 
conducted the services and music was rendered by Chandler Haight, Sr.  Bearers 
were Mr. White’s brother, Herbert White, of Lansing, James Hilton, Theo 
Bailey, Harold Jones, Keith Talcott and George Arehart.  A short prayer 
service was held at Lowell and interment was at the Lowell cemetery.
