Portland Review - April 3, 2011


Susan M. White, age 63, passed away March 29, 2011 at her home following a long 
illness. Mrs. White was born May 2, 1947 in Lansing, a daughter of Carlton E. 
and E. Margaret (Massey) Burgess.

She was a graduate of Bath High School and was a receptionist at Portland 
Federal Credit Union.

Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, Sr., parents and three 
sisters. Surviving are her daughter, Barbara Sue Cahoon of Ionia; two sons, 
Robert E. White Jr. of Mulliken and his fiancée, Roxanne Harrington, and 
Carlton G. White of Big Island of Hawaii; 3 grandchildren; 1 sister; 2 
brothers; several nieces and nephews.

A visitation was held Saturday at Barker-Leik Funeral Home Mulliken. Inurnment 
will be in Danby Cemetery.
