The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, August 5, 2009

Thomas R. White, age 39, formerly of Portland, passed away suddenly July 8, 
2009 at his home in Brevard, N.C.

He is survived by his parents Richard C. and Barbara A. (Welch) White of 
Stanton; his two daughters Megan L. Kohls of Kalamazoo and Cassandra C. White 
of Palo; one sister Jennifer (John) Proctor of Ionia; one brother Joseph M. 
(Melissa) White of Alto; one niece Jenna E. White of Grand Rapids; two nephews 
Jeremia S. Johnson of Ionia and Nathan Well of Saranac and ex-wife Angela 
(Bill) Kohls of Palo.

His remains were cremated in Ashville, N.C. A memorial will be held at 1 p.m., 
Aug. 15, in the conference room at Alice Springs Campgrounds, 5089 Alice 
Courts, Ionia. Anyone wishing to stay and camp out with the family are very 
welcome to.
