Janice M. White, of Orleans, age 84, passed away on Monday, Oct. 12, 2009.

She was born on July 15, 1925 in Ionia the daughter of John and Beulah (Shong) 
Bippley. Mrs. White was a member of the Sheridan VFW Ladies Auxiliary and lived 
to read, watch soap operas and word search puzzles. 

Surviving are daughters, Linda (partner Joe Beland) Butler of Wyoming and 
Connie Kline of Ionia; 7 grandchildren, Tony (Rhonda) Butler of Belding, Tracy 
(Matt) Dahl of Coon Rapids, Minn., Heather (Lenny) Anderson of Ionia, Robin 
Kline of Ionia, Amy Kline of Ionia, Sarah (James) Smith of Wyoming, Mich. and 
Robert Beland of Wyoming, Mich.; 8 great-grandchildren, Bryce, Brooke, Alicia, 
Dakota, Samantha, Zackary, Joe, and Avva; 2 sisters, Margaret Kilduff of Ionia 
and Beverley Bailey of Ionia.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Samuel White.

Religious Services will be conducted by Rev. Philip Sharp at 11 a.m. Friday, 
Oct. 16, 2009 at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 220 Rich St., Ionia. 
Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Ionia. The family will 
receive friends 6-8 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home. For those wishing, 
memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Society in memory of Mrs.
