John White, 37, of 208 West Jefferson, Lansing, died of a heart attack while 
taking a short walk after his Friday evening meal. He was the son of Mr. and 
Mrs. Ralph White of Prairie Creek.

Born in Easton township the son of Ralph and Wynette White, John white attended 
school in Easton township and later the Ionia public schools graduating from 
Ionia high school. He attended Western State Teacher’s college in Kalamazoo.

He was employed in the engineering department of the Olds Motor company in 
Lansing.

Surviving are his wife, Mildred, a daughter Kathleen and son, Robert; his 
parents, r. and Mrs. Ralph White of Ionia, 3 brothers, Frank White of Ionia, 
George of Flint, and Philip a student of Wayne University; and a sister, Mrs. 
Leon Carpenter of St. Johns.

Funeral arrangements have not yet been announced.

Funeral services will be held Monday at the Estes-Leadley funeral chapel at 
2:30 p.m. The Rev. William A. Blanding will officiate. Interment will be in 
Easton cemetery.
